Dated 1880, the Alms Lodges are a row of three Grade II listed 2 bedroomed properties located just outside Betws-y-Coed, in the picturesque and peaceful National Trust village of Ystyby Ifan. The village which is dissected by the river Conwy, has an old mill, workshop and a smithy and other historic buildings which are now owned by the National trust.In 2009 the Lodges were renovated and furnished to a high standard, whilst sympathetically restoring original features, such as limed walls, oak beams and stone fireplaces. DIRECTIONS AND PARKINGFollow the A5 from Betws Y Coed and after about 5 miles youwill come down a long straight with a turning on the right toBlaenau Ffestiniog and Ysbyty Ifan (B4407). Turn down hereand follow the road 2 miles into the village of Ysbyty Ifan. Do not turn into the village itself on the left but stay on the B4407 heading up the incline as if going out of the village, this is School Lane and the Alms Lodges are the row of 3 single story properties on the right hand corner. On arrival at the Lodge there is an unloading area at the end of the row of properties, please refer to guide book in property for parking details thereafter.
